The New Haven RFC Booster Club was originally created to support the operations of the club through, fund raising, road trips and volunteer work. As the complexity of the business of running the club increases, we are in need of additional involvement from our supporters. Supporters include but are not limited to; ex-players, club family members, friends and area businesses. Since its inception, thanks in large part to Lou Petruzzello and Tim "Monk" Kearns ; the Booster club has operated loosely around major events and special occasions. By the end of 2005, it is our goal to formalize a plan of operation for 2006, which should include; game day events, NHRFC Booster club merchandise, annual membership plans and fundraising activities.
Our mission is to play an active role in the success of the New Haven Rugby Football Club. While the game is won on the field, the ultimate success of a club, in the long term, happens off the field.
Please submit suggestions for events, fundraising ideas or ways to assist the NHRFC in the coming year. We will take your suggestions and formalize a plan to come out strong in 06. Thanks in advance.
